Dense and delicious

A dense and luscious nose that opened with melon cordial and crushed nettles but went on to incorporate salted caramel, millionaire shortbread, sweet malt syrup, red apples, bubblegum and oat-rich flapjacks. Water brought hibiscus flowers, lime cordial, tiger balm and eucalyptus, also some hints of malted milkshake, apple shisha and vanilla sponge cake. The palate maintained this wonderfully thick and textural profile. Impressions of honeycomb, heather ales, wildflowers, soda bread spread with lemon curd and hints of kumquat and orange blossom. Water added shoe leather, waxed hessian, camphor, clove oil, marzipan and cough drops. A luscious and assertively old school profile.
